$5 Fundraiser
The Idaho Drug Free Youth $5 Fundraiser supports Idaho Drug Free Youth prevention efforts to continue to provide empowerment, fun, knowledge, and support to teens from every Idaho community. Help us reach our goal of impacting kids from 1,328 Idaho communities this year. Our wish is to receive at least one donation from each town so that every teen in Idaho has the opportunity to be impacted by Idaho Drug Free Youth. Your $5 donation will put your town on the map, showing your support of Idaho Drug Free Youth. Help us raise $25,000 by January 2012.
What will your $5 Hometown Sponsorship Do?
- Allow middle and high school students from your town to be a part of an organization that accepts, encourages, and rewards their decision to not use drug and alcohol.
- Provide opportunities for kids in your town to participate in positive, community-building events and unique experiences that strengthen character and inspire ingenuity.
- Educate the youth and families in your community about the risks of using drugs, alcohol and tobacco.
- Build a statewide network of youth and adults who promote a drug free way of life for all students by encouraging positive peer influence and recognizing those who are making healthy choices.
- Fulfill the need for young people to discover their full potential through meaningful leadership and service to create powerful change in your schools.
