8TH-12TH GRADE RETREAT & ADVISOR TRAINING
The IDFY Leadership Retreat is designed for students who want to increase their influence in their schools, communities, and IDFY chapters. The focus of the retreat is on what it means to run a youth-driven organization and how to really make an impact on the culture of your school. Fun and innovative workshops will address issues and pressures that teens face, how to improve youth-adult relationships, building your IDFY chapter, and fundraising skills. Beyond workshops, our youth leadership retreats offer students and youth workers the unique opportunity to network with peers across the state, gaining ideas and resources from one another and making new connections. During the same weekend, Advisors will be trained and provided with every resource needed to run a successful IDFY Chapter
