TRENDSETTERS: Do Something Worth Following.
We believe in the power of young people. Today’s youth are visionaries and go-getters. They have powerful ideas and a unique perspective.
More than a drug prevention program for Idaho teens, IDFY is a way of life—a place for young people to be fully embraced free of labels and stereotypes. With a healthy dose of inspiration, acceptance, and connection, IDFY challenges Idaho teens to embrace a healthy lifestyle and become leaders who actively seek to positively impact their schools, communities, and all of Idaho.
WHAT IS THE IDAHO YOUTH SUMMIT? A 4-day conference for teens. Attendees participate in interactive workshops, are inspired by motivational speakers, and participate in a variety of engaging and inspiring teen-led activities.
Youth who are finishing grades 7-12 are invited to attend the Idaho Youth Summit as participants and do not have to be members of Idaho Drug Free Youth to attend. Youth who have previously attended the Idaho Youth Summit and who are finishing grades 10-12 may apply to serve as Youth Staff during the conference week.
Adults (18+) are invited to attend as Adult Participants with a group of students from their school or community. Every school group is required to have an adult for each group of students. Adults who would like to volunteer as staff have the opportunity to apply for the I-Team (Ages 18-20) or Adult Staff (Ages 21 and up).
Registration + Bus: $300
Your registration covers: 3 delicious meals a day, inspiring workshop and keynote sessions, comfortable lodging, intense team-building activities, a vast array of high-quality free time activities, and your very own t-shirt. For Kootenai County Residents:
This year, the Idaho Youth Summit will also be hosting the Block Party, a feature of Idaho’s most impactful organizations and interested businesses. The Block Party will give attendees the opportunity to build connections with coalitions, community nonprofits, and organizations that are on the forefront of engaging the next generation.
