Staff Information
Thank you for your interest in serving as a volunteer staff for the 17th annual Idaho Youth Summit!
The Idaho Youth Summit is a very active, participatory camp where staff is asked to take part from morning until night. It is an excellent opportunity to receive additional training in youth leadership, facilitation skills, and drug prevention programming. We value the commitment of our staff members who are so talented at assisting teens in making positive choices. We at Idaho Drug Free Youth promise to make the camp a very rewarding and fun experience for you!
As volunteer staff, you will play an invaluable role in helping each participant to have a fulfilling and positive conference experience. The responsibilities associated with the staff role require a great deal of time and energy. We appreciate your acceptance of this role and ask that you perform your responsibilities with a positive and helpful attitude.
IDAHO YOUTH SUMMIT STAFF POSITIONS:
- Youth Staff (Finishing grades 10-12 & previous camp participant)
- I-Team (Ages 18-21)
- Adult Staff (21 and up)
STAFF TRAINING:
Staff will be trained before participants arrive as well as throughout the entire week.
I-Team will be expected to arrive for staff training at 7:00 pm on Friday, June 11th, 2010
Youth Staff will be expected to arrive for staff training at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 12th, 2010.
Adult Staff will be expected to arrive for staff training at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 12th, 2010.
All Staff will be expected to stay until 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 17th, 2010.

- Submit two (2) Recommendation Forms and a photo of yourself to:
Staff applications must be submitted by March 31, 2010. You will be informed of our selections for staff by April 16, 2010.
